WUD Goes International

The native meme coin of Polkadot now speaks 14 languages. From today, someone in Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Hanoi, Jakarta, Manila, Istanbul, Moscow, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Madrid or São Paulo can open gavunwud.com and read all of WUD in their own language. Every language has its own website link and its own Telegram channel, all listed below.

Why this is a big deal

Polkadot is a worldwide community. Its builders, holders and players live in every corner of the world, and most of them do not speak English as their first language. Until today, gavunwud.com was English only. For most of the world, that was a wall between them and WUD.

That wall is gone. The games, the lore, the guides and the wiki can now be read in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Filipino, Turkish, Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Every page was written for its own readers, in the words people actually use in each country, instead of being pushed through a machine translator.

It also means people can find us. Every language version is built for search, so someone searching for a Polkadot meme coin in Korean, a Polkadot game in Japanese or Polkadot NFTs in Spanish can land on WUD, in their own language.

Your language, your links

Every language has two links: its own version of the website, and its own announcement channel on Telegram. Share the ones that fit your friends and your community.

What you can read in your language

This is only the start. More pages will be translated soon, and more updates for every language are on the way.

How it works

If your phone or browser is set to one of these languages, gavunwud.com offers your version in a single line at the top of the page. One tap and you are in, or ignore it and stay in English. You can switch any time from the Language menu at the bottom of every page, and the site remembers your choice the next time you visit.

Every language link works on its own, so you can send gavunwud.com/ko to a friend in Korea or gavunwud.com/es to a friend in Mexico, and they land straight on their version.

A Telegram channel in every language

Each of the 14 channels is an announcement channel. Gavun Bot posts every big WUD update there, written in that language, alongside the English announcement. Join yours and you will never miss a game launch, a new feature or a big moment again.

English stays home base

WUD is an English-first project. Chat and support stay in English in the main Telegram group, as best we can, and everyone is welcome there, in any accent. The language channels are where the news reaches you in your own words.

Help spread it

Know someone who would love WUD but never read an English crypto site? Send them their link. This is how a Polkadot meme coin becomes a worldwide one.

Want to help grow WUD in your region, in any of the countries above or somewhere we have not reached yet? We would love to hear from you on our contact page.
