The events

Where the pot goes

Each game runs its event its own way. Here is how both work today.

Flappy WUD 3.0

The Flappening

A Flappening is a time-limited Flappy WUD event. The pot becomes the prize pool, and when the event ends it is shared by everyone who flew, based on the points they scored. Surge makes every point worth more.

  • Classic counts. Classic is the mode used for prizes. Every log you pass is one point.
  • Surge multiplies. The more people online at once, the bigger the multiplier: ×2 at 25, ×4 at 50, ×8 at 75, ×16 at 100 and ×32 at 125. Each event can set its own levels.
  • Your score stays yours. Surge is locked in when your run starts and boosts the reward, never the score.
  • Every run is checked. The game sends your taps, not a score, and the server replays the run to work out the points.
  • Be on the board. Connect a wallet and pick a name in the game so your runs count. Verifying is a signature, not a transaction.
  • Bring friends. The more, the higher the payout.

Play-2-Earn events

When a Grid Miner event is live, the game offers a Play-2-Earn switch. It is the same mine and the same run, except what you score is paid to your wallet, straight out of the event pot.

  • Switch and dig. Pick Play-2-Earn before your run. Solo runs stay free and pay nothing.
  • Hold to play. Your linked wallet needs a minimum $WUD balance, set for each event and checked every run.
  • Depth matters. How deep you finish decides what each point is worth.
  • Paid automatically. Payouts go to your linked wallet on Polkadot Asset Hub within a few minutes. Nothing to claim.
  • Until the pot runs out. The event ends when the pot is spent, and anyone still digging at the end shares what is left.
  • Solo only. Co-op runs don't pay $WUD.

Good to know

Where is the pot kept?

In Gavun Wud / Rewards, a public wallet on Polkadot Asset Hub listed under the verified Gavun Wud identity. Anyone can see its balance on Subscan, and the number on this page reads straight from the chain.

What happens when the pot fills?

That event gets exactly 100 million $WUD and is announced ahead of time in the $WUD Telegram, Discord and on X, with its dates and rules. Anything above 100 million rolls straight into the next event.

Which games host events?

Flappy WUD and Grid Miner take turns for now. More WUD games will join the rotation as they launch.

Which wallets work?

Any Polkadot wallet that holds $WUD on Asset Hub, such as Nova, SubWallet or Talisman. MetaMask works on Hydration only, so it can't add to the pot.

My $WUD is on Hydration. Can I still add it?

Yes. Move it to Asset Hub on the Trade page first, then add it here or send it with a plain transfer.

Does adding to the pot come with perks?

No perks or extras. It simply makes the next event bigger, sooner, for everyone who plays.

How do I hear when an event starts?

Follow the $WUD channels: Telegram, Discord and X. Every new gift to the pot is posted in Discord too, and Grid Miner players also get a letter in the game.

Who runs the events?

The GAVUN WUD team sets up each event and posts its rules before it starts. The games check every run on the server, so scores are fair.
