The Winter Aura Awards Have Begun
The first Aura Awards are on. Counting started on November 1 and runs all winter, until February 1. The top 50 residents in the Hall of Aura each win a Mystery Box, so every day you spend near the top counts.
The prizes
- 1st place: a Mega Boosted Mystery Box
- 2nd to 10th: a Boosted Mystery Box
- 11th to 50th: a Mystery Box
One box per resident, sent straight to the winning wallet after the Awards close on February 1.
How you are ranked
- Every dayOnce a day, at a different time each day, everyone's place on the Hall of Aura leaderboard is recorded.
- The average winsYour Awards place is the average of all those daily places, so climbing early and staying near the top is what counts. One lucky day is not enough.
- Never too lateDays outside the top 50 count as 51st, so you can still join in now and climb your way into the prizes.
Open the Awards tab in the Hall of Aura to see the countdown, the standings and your own Awards place. Every resident shows up just like on the main leaderboard, with their aura, items, sealed boxes and trophies.
How to raise your aura
Your aura is your score in the Hall of Aura. Four things build it:
- Your collectionEvery WUD Universe item adds points by its stars, and the rarest pieces add the most. Sealed Mystery Boxes and your cabin count too.
- Your $WUD boostHolding $WUD on Asset Hub or Hydration boosts your whole collection.
- Your $DOT boostHolding $DOT in the same wallet boosts it again.
- Your trophiesEvery trophy you earn adds aura on top, and you keep it for good.
Trophies
There are hundreds of trophies to earn: collecting items, opening Mystery Boxes, making friends, sending letters and gifts, decorating your cabin, holding $WUD and $DOT, OG WUD BURN cards and more. Each one adds aura the moment you earn it:
- Common trophies add 25 aura
- Rare trophies add 100 aura
- Epic trophies add 300 aura
- Legendary trophies add 1,000 aura
Where to find Mystery Boxes
More boxes means more items and more aura, and a sealed box counts toward your aura before you even open it.
- The Marketplace: pick up Mystery Boxes from other residents.
- Flappy WUD: cabin owners can find a Flappy WUD Mystery Box while they fly. The further you go, the better your chances.
- Grid Miner: cabin owners can find a Grid Miner Mystery Box deep in the mine as they finish objective tiers.
- More on the way: new ways to find boxes are coming through the winter.
Open your boxes in the Box Room of your cabin, or keep them sealed. Either way, they count.
